What each of these is
BONK · Bonk
BONK launched in December 2022 as an airdrop to Solana wallets, weeks after the FTX collapse, and it is often cited as the point sentiment on the chain turned. The airdrop put it into a large number of wallets at once, and the holder base is still wide. Supply runs into the hundreds of trillions, so the price sits at a fraction of a cent and small absolute moves look enormous in percentage terms. It has traded through multiple cycles, which few Solana memes have.
WIF · dogwifhat
A dog in a pink knitted hat, and one of the largest Solana memecoins by market cap through 2024. WIF picked up centralized exchange listings early, so it trades off-chain as well as on, and it often moves before the rest of the Solana meme complex. The Raydium pool holds enough depth for real size without brutal slippage.
POPCAT · Popcat
POPCAT is the clicking-cat meme and one of the few 2023-vintage Solana tokens that carried a serious market cap into the following cycle. Centralized exchange listings gave it a holder base that looks nothing like a fresh pump.fun launch. Volume arrives in bursts, usually alongside the rest of the cat coins.
MEW · cat in a dogs world
MEW launched in March 2024 at the height of the cat-versus-dog split in Solana meme culture and got listed quickly. Its Raydium pool carries several million dollars of liquidity, which is more than most tokens at this market cap and means slippage stays manageable. Interest rises and falls with the broader meme rotation rather than with anything project-specific.
BOME · BOOK OF MEME
BOME launched in March 2024 and ran to a large market cap within its first few days, fast enough that it became the reference point for that cycle. What remains is a very large pool and a holder base that mostly bought well above the current price. It still trades actively, which makes it a useful reference for how a former mania token behaves once the mania is over.
PNUT · Peanut the Squirrel
PNUT is named after a pet squirrel seized and euthanized by New York state officials in late 2024, a news cycle that became a token within days. It ran hard that November and picked up a Binance listing weeks after launch. Since then it trades the way news memes usually do, which is quietly until something puts the reference back in front of people.
FARTCOIN · Fartcoin
Fartcoin came out of the Truth Terminal AI experiment and grew into one of the larger tokens in the AI-meme category despite the name being the entire joke. Liquidity is split across several Orca and Raydium pools, so the depth you actually get depends on which one your route touches. The pool quoted here is the Orca one.
PENGU · Pudgy Penguins
PENGU belongs to Pudgy Penguins, an NFT collection that turned itself into a consumer brand with plush toys on physical retail shelves. The December 2024 airdrop put the token into a very large number of wallets at once. It behaves more like a brand asset than a pure meme and often moves on distribution news rather than chart setups.
TRUMP · OFFICIAL TRUMP
TRUMP launched three days before the January 2025 inauguration and ran hard in its first two days before giving most of it back. Supply concentration and the unlock schedule are the facts that matter most on this one, and both are published by the issuer rather than by us, so read them there before sizing anything. Volume is still heavy by Solana standards and it reacts to political news that has nothing to do with crypto.
GIGA · Gigachad
GIGA is the Gigachad meme, launched in 2024 and one of the more persistent mid-cap Solana memes since. We found no product or roadmap published for it, which the holders treat as the point rather than a criticism. Liquidity concentrates in a single Raydium pool, so size moves the price faster than the market cap alone would suggest.
MOODENG · Moo Deng
MOODENG is named after a baby pygmy hippo at a Thai zoo who went viral in September 2024. The token ran hard within weeks of the meme breaking and picked up centralized exchange listings after that. It is a clean example of the attention-to-token pipeline that pump.fun made routine, which is most of why it is worth a page.
How we pick these pools and source this data
Pool selection. Each ticker is resolved by its canonical SPL mint address, never by symbol search. Searching a symbol on any Solana data source returns impostor tokens that reuse a well-known ticker and report fabricated reserves, so a pool found that way is often not the token you think it is. Where a mint has several honest pools, we keep the pair with the best combination of depth and 24h volume, which is the pool a router is most likely to fill against.
Data collection. Price, 24h change, 24h volume, pool liquidity, FDV, and trade counts for every market in this registry come from the GeckoTerminal API, requested by your own browser and refreshed on a timer. Numbers are printed as the API returns them. We do not hand-adjust prices, and we never fill a blank cell with an estimate.
Why this list and not a top-volume list. A live “highest volume on Solana” table is mostly tokens minted in the last 48 hours, and those pages are worthless within a week. This registry is 21 tickers with a history and a reason to still exist, so the pages stay accurate.
