REFERRAL CODE
Terminal referral code:
terminalpedia
Terminal charges everyone the same 1% per trade. What a referral link changes is how much of that fee comes back to you: 35% instead of 10%, paid in SOL. The rate is set the moment you create your account and cannot be changed later.
Terminal referral code (2026)
Our code is terminalpedia, and you apply it by opening terminal.pump.fun/rk/terminalpedia before you create an account. There is no box to type a code into. The code lives in the URL path, which is the only way Terminal accepts one.
What you get is a cashback rate, not a discount. Terminal takes 1% of every trade with no volume tiers and no discount table anywhere in the app, and it pays part of that back to you in SOL. Users who sign up directly get 10% of their fees back. Users who arrive through a referral link get 35%. On $10,000 of volume, that is $100 in fees, of which $35 comes back rather than $10.
Terminal is the app formerly called Padre, which is why most searches for this land on Padre pages. Same product, same referral system, same /rk/ link format. If that is news to you, start with Terminal, formerly Padre.
What does the referral code actually get you?
35%
Cashback with a referral link
10%
Cashback without one, per archived docs only
SOL
Paid per trade, claimed manually
Nothing else changes. Your fee is 1% either way, the app behaves the same, and we have found no feature gated behind the referral. This is the whole offer, and it is worth one thing: the difference between the default cashback rate and 35% of what you spend on fees, for as long as the account exists.
The 10% figure in the tile above is archived-only, and the section further down explains why we flag it. To put a figure on that difference at your own trade size, the cashback ledger runs both rates side by side and shows its sources.
How does the /rk/ link actually work?
We pulled this from Terminal's production JavaScript on 6 August 2026 rather than from marketing copy, because the mechanics decide whether your rate registers.
The app defines a single referral route, /rk/:refCode. On startup it checks whether the current path contains /rk, splits the code out of the URL, writes it to browser localStorage under the key padreV2-referredBy, and registers it. So the code is an attribution token stored on your device the first time you visit, and it is bound to the account when you sign up. Everything after that point, including depositing and withdrawing on Terminal, works the same whichever rate you are on.
Three consequences worth knowing:
- Opening the link in a private window, then signing up in a normal one, loses the code. Use the same browser profile for both.
- Clearing site data between opening the link and creating the account also loses it. Check the Rewards page before your first trade.
/rk/was the only referral route we found. A/r/path or a?ref=query string stored nothing when we tested it, and the page still loaded normally, which is what makes it easy to miss.
Legacy padre.gg links use the same format and still work, since both domains front the same application. The app's own PnL share cards still generate trade.padre.gg addresses, which is a leftover from the rename rather than a different program.
Signing up, step by step
Open the referral link first
Visit terminal.pump.fun/rk/terminalpedia before creating an account. Terminal reads the code out of the URL path and stores it in your browser, so this has to happen before signup rather than after.
Create your account
Sign in with Telegram, Google or X, then set the password that encrypts your wallet keys. Terminal states that it does not store that password, and we found no reset flow, so save it somewhere permanent first. Our custody guide explains why exporting your keys at this point matters.
Check the Rewards page
Open terminal.pump.fun/rewards and confirm your account shows the 35% rate. Do it before your first trade, because that is the only chance you get to catch a code that did not register.
Trade, then claim in SOL
Cashback accrues per trade and waits in your rewards balance until you claim it manually. Set both a SOL and an EVM rewards wallet so payouts land where you want them. Before your first buy, read the 20% slippage trap, which costs small traders far more than cashback returns.
Set Your Cashback Rate Before You Trade
Terminal pays cashback on your trading fees in SOL, and its live in-app copy advertises up to 35% for accounts created through a referral link. The rate is fixed when the account is made. The 1% trading fee is the same either way.
Open Terminal with 35% CashbackPayout mechanics
Cashback is not credited against your next trade. It is a SOL balance you claim, which means it sits there until you go and get it. The right-hand column says where each fact comes from, because the documentation and the shipped app do not always agree.
| Aspect | What happens | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Payout token | SOL | Archived docs |
| Accrual | Per trade, in real time | Archived docs |
| Claiming | Manual, from the Rewards page at terminal.pump.fun/rewards | Archived docs, live code, and the dashboard below |
| Minimum claim | None stated anywhere. Treat as unverified | Not found |
| Destination | User-set SOL and EVM rewards wallets, so EVM trades accrue too | Live code |
| Referred rate | 35% of the fees you generate | Live in-app copy, and the dashboard below |
| Default rate | 10% of the fees you generate | Archived docs only |
| Changing the rate | Not possible after signup | Live code |
One gap we will not paper over: no minimum claim amount appears anywhere, in the app or in the archived documentation. That probably means there is none, but we have not confirmed it, so do not plan around claiming dust.
What does the referral dashboard actually show?
Most pages quoting a Terminal cashback rate are quoting each other. This is our own referral dashboard inside Terminal, captured on 6 September 2026, so you can read the rate off the app rather than take our word for it. We have covered the wallet address and the unclaimed balance: the wallet because a partial address still narrows the search for an on-chain identity, and the balance because a dollar figure from one account is not a number anyone else should plan around.

Four things in that capture are worth pointing at. The first is that the referral code terminalpedia carries a verified check, which is the only way to confirm a code is actually registered, because terminal.pump.fun is a single-page app that returns an identical shell for every URL.
The kickback reads 35%, with an asterisk, which is why this page says “up to” rather than promising a flat rate. The program text beside it offers up to 40% of referred trading volume, excluding gas fees and taxes. That is a different figure from the 35%, and we explain why below.
The fourth is the rewards area itself, which has four tabs. Two of them, Cashback Coins and Lucky Spins, have no documentation anywhere.
To be plain about what this does and does not show: it confirms the program exists, that this code is registered, and what rate the app displays for this account. It is one account on one day. It is not a projection of what anyone else would earn, and nothing about a referral rate says a trade will be profitable.
Where do these two numbers come from?
The 35% is solid. It is confirmed in live in-app copy, which reads “Up to 35% cashback,” it matches the referral share visible in the app's own code, and it is the rate shown on the dashboard above.
The 10% default is weaker, and we can now say exactly how weak. It comes from one page, docs.padre.gg/padre-v2/rewards, which we recovered from a Wayback capture dated 20 June 2025. It read “by default, all users receive 10% cashback on trading fees” and that a referral signup boosts the rate to 35%. That page is fifteen months old, branded Padre throughout, and written before pump.fun acquired the product.
Searching the app we read on 6 September 2026 found no 10% cashback string at all. So 10% was the documented default in mid-2025 and we cannot confirm it is the default now. The rest of what we pulled off that dead documentation site is in the docs archive.
The 35% against 40% gap in the capture above is not a mistake on our side. Terminal's own referral program page, recovered from a capture dated 9 March 2026, says you can earn “up to 40% of the fees from their transaction volume” in one paragraph and “you receive 35% of the transaction fees” four lines later. Both numbers, same page. That is a better explanation for the conflicting rates quoted across the web than assuming any particular site got it wrong.
What is not in doubt is the direction: a referral signup pays materially more, and the choice is only available once.
Is the 90% cashback offer still available?
Several sites still advertise 90% cashback on Terminal. That number was real once and it is not available now.
When pump.fun acquired Vyper in February 2026 and wound down its app four days later, migrating Vyper users were offered up to 90% fee cashback for their first month. It was a one-off incentive to move an acquired user base. Searching the shipped bundle we read on 6 August 2026 returned no occurrence of the string “vyper”, and live in-app copy tops out at 35%.
If a page is quoting you 90%, check the date on it before you rely on anything else it says.
What we earn, and why we are telling you
When you sign up through our link, Terminal pays us 35% of the trading fees you generate. That is the standard referrer rate. The archived Padre documentation also described a higher ceiling for negotiated partner accounts. We cannot verify the current terms of any such arrangement, we do not have one, and 35% is the number that applies here.
Our commission comes out of Terminal's share of the 1% fee. It is not deducted from your cashback, and it does not raise what you pay. If you signed up without any link, Terminal would simply keep that portion.
We are saying this plainly because the alternative is worse. A lot of the Terminal and Padre material we read on Reddit carries a referral link without disclosing it, which makes genuine questions about the app harder to get answered. Our incentive is obvious, so the only useful thing we can offer is being accurate about the product anyway, including the parts that argue against signing up. Read the slippage trap and Terminal vs Axiom before you decide, and if Axiom looks like the better fit, our sister site Axiompedia covers it.
Before you click
- ✓Cashback is 35% instead of 10%, paid in SOL, accruing on every trade across all supported chains
- ✓The 1% fee is unchanged. Nobody pays more or less because of a referral
- ⚠The rate is bound at signup and cannot be changed afterward, so the link has to come first
- ⚠Use terminal.pump.fun or padre.gg. We have seen similar-looking names such as padregg.org, padre-trade.com and padre-terminal.xyz, and we could not verify any connection between those and Terminal, so treat them as unofficial
- ⚠Set your slippage before your first trade. At the 20% default it can cost more in one bad fill than cashback returns in a month

Frequently asked questions
The code is terminalpedia, and it is applied by visiting terminal.pump.fun/rk/terminalpedia before you create an account. In the Terminal bundle we read on 6 August 2026, /rk/ was the only referral route and we found no field for typing a code in. Opening the link stores the code in your browser, and it is attached to your account when you sign up.
Signing up through a referral link sets your cashback to 35% of the trading fees you generate. Live in-app copy confirms the 35%. The 10% figure usually quoted as the non-referred default comes from an archived March 2026 capture of the Padre documentation, which is now offline, so treat that half as unverified. Cashback is paid in SOL, accrues on every trade, and is claimed from the Rewards page. The 1% trading fee itself is the same either way, so the referral changes what comes back rather than what you pay.
We have not found a way to. The rate appears to be bound to your account at signup. As of August 2026 we found no field for entering a code inside the app and no documented support process for moving an existing account onto a boosted rate. If you already have an account at the default rate, assume that is where it stays and ask Terminal support if it matters to you.
It is paid in SOL. Your balance accrues per trade in real time and sits there until you claim it manually from the Rewards page at terminal.pump.fun/rewards. We found no minimum claim amount stated in the app or in the archived documentation as of August 2026, so treat that as unverified rather than as confirmation there is none. You can set separate SOL and EVM rewards wallets, so trades on the EVM chains accrue too.
It does not. Terminal charges a flat 1% on every trade, and in the app bundle we read on 6 August 2026 we found no volume tiers and no discount table. A referral link only raises the share of that fee paid back to you as cashback. Read our fees guide for how the 1% stacks with pump.fun's separate 1.25% bonding-curve fee.
We have found no sign that it is. The 90% figure was a first-month migration incentive for Vyper users after pump.fun acquired Vyper in February 2026. Searching the Terminal bundle we read on 6 August 2026 returned no occurrence of the string "vyper", and live in-app copy tops out at 35% cashback. If a page is still quoting 90%, check when it was last updated.
Yes, and it is the reason this page exists. Terminal pays a referrer 35% of the trading fees generated by the people they refer. That comes out of Terminal's share of the 1% fee, not out of your cashback, and it does not change your rate or your costs.
Not as far as we can tell. In the app bundle we read on 6 August 2026, /rk/ was the only referral route we found. A link shaped like terminal.pump.fun/r/code or terminal.pump.fun/?ref=code loaded the app but stored nothing, so you would sign up at the default rate without realizing it. Legacy padre.gg links using /rk/ still work, since both domains front the same application.
